The UKs Favourite Vintage Event this Saturday!

I am so pleased to have a last minute slot at the fair this Saturday from 12pm! It's going to be huge, with over 40 stalls, plus a beauty bar and vintage tea room... lots of lovely pieces on offer from me too!

Pop-up-Pin-Up

I think I was a little slow to discover this cool American-style diner haunt at Manchester's Spiningfields, as I see it is closing early November, but if you do have a chance to see it before it goes, then I suggest going down there for a burger and a jive, possibly a bit of bowling too! We arrived late on Saturday evening, luckily our friends had managed to battle and win a table (I think you're meant to reserve a spot), so we could be seated with a very strong cocktail and a juicy American style burger. The food took me right back to my New York trip with it being delivered in a bright red basket and friendly smiley staff! The music is a bit of a random mix, yet all good songs to have a dance to on the black and white checked dance floor. We didn't make it to the bowling alleys as I think you have to reserve a place well in advance. Unfortunately the doors closed early that night and we had to leave by 11pm, usually it stays open past midnight though. It's a cute place, shame it's not staying as Manchester needs more place like this!

Out came the winter coat...

I got my winter coat out for the first time yesterday, the weather has changed and the winter chill was in the air. My little fur trimmed winter wonder from NYC bought last November, warmed my body through! Although a little heavy to wear, the 1940s style I do love! Thinking back to my trip last year, Brooklyn Flea Market was such a good find. So many amazing items on sale there, I really wish there was some outdoor haunts like this over in the UK... I have yet to find these. Not only did the winter coat come out, but also a pair of new winter boots! A little shopping trip into town so me come face-to-face with a cute pair of ankle leathers from Clarks. I felt buying them now would mean I was to get my monies worth throughout the wintery days ahead.
I am now on the hunt for a new washing machine...

I had such a great time this Friday & Saturday at the Manchester Vintage Fashion Market. The feedback I received for CC Globe was brilliant. This was the first time I had shown the pieces and they went down a storm. Thankfully the sun stayed for the two days and customers came too. All the items I hand pick on my world travels are pieces that I really believe in and love, passing a vintage treasure on to the next person is such a great feeling. My little stall really stood tall against the others too and my three models all shone in their pretty dresses. I am really looking forward to the next market that is on November 18th & 19th, CC Globe will once again be there, with some more lovely one off pieces.Thank you to everyone who purchased from me, or came down and showed your support, it's very much appreciated.

Thanks! CC
