Yesterday I attended a birthday party, this party really was something special as the birthday girl was turning 100 years old. To be around so many elderly people, all dressed up, in their best outfits was really lovely! A sandwich spread with crisps, home made sweets and lots of other treats, birthday cake and so many bunches of flowers and cards filled the home. When asked what the birthday girls secret was "well I never really thought about getting old, it just happened". Drinking water from the tap in her fine china tea-cup, she swore that she has never touched a drop of moisturiser for her face and just let life get on with itself... Having a loving and caring family around her, the birthday girl still lives in her own house, calls her shots and enjoys her independent life! Pretty Annie, Happy Birthday To You. x
