Dinner for friends

Tonight I plan to cook for some friends. I have decided to make a beef stew with colcannon mash. Trying to serve up something traditionally British. Hope they like! Could do with Miss Turley here to lend a hand in the kitchen though...

In the last hour a lot has happened;

Left the flat
SCREAMED at on the staircase
Shared a tasty tea; Tofu with minced pork & chili
Purchased another notepad 
Bought a new handbag (yes)
Back to the flat

As the snow covered the grounds of England, the grey overcast weather fills the skies of Hong Kong but the ornate buildings still shine through.

They might not have cheap vintage stores, with rails and rails of special sweet finds, but they do have...super duper STATIONARY. So Nice. In lots of pretty colours with lots of pretty pictures on them. I am addicted. Mmmm smell those pages...

Furry things are my new favourite things and shiny white plastic things too...

I am on the hunt for furry things...these two pieces jumped out at me the other day! I love them. They definitely cheered me up. I love it when something so simple can be so pleasing. It reminded me of the pound rail @ Retro Rehab. I miss those pound pleasures...
