I have been CC for almost a year now and to celebrate the day that my name changed, SC and I have decided to take off to NYC!

SO excited... So many things we intend to see and do.

Districts to walk in, restaurants to eat in, shops to shop in, bars to drink in and posh hotels to sleep in!

My Husband

Begin.

Today my blog post is dedicated to my Husband. It is his birthday. He is 5978.18 miles away from me at the moment. He is scheduled to return on October 24th. This is now standing in our way. I am staying positive. My Husband is pretty god dam special. We married and then ran away together. This is the first time we have been apart, ever.

So, let's all raise a glass to CC's Husband. Let him know that he is missed so much and that CC is working hard and building the empire while he is away.

Camel has got me

Usually my love for bright bold prints wins over anything... however, this winter the camel shades will be definitely cropping up in my winter wardrobe. I love this look, simple, toned down and finished off with shiny gold shoes. Nice.

Spotting and Buying

What a lovely selection of vintage dresses and blouses I came across today. All hand chosen for my CC Boutique stall at the up and coming fair. I cannot wait to have them on sale for all you pretty girls! 50s inspired silk dresses, simple silk blouses, vintage leather loafers, camel sheepskin and little accessories to match.

Not long now till the doors will open and with more exciting stalls confirming daily I have such a good feeling about it! Sweet As Candy, Dollhouse, Tartes, original artwork from local artists, Cardboard Kid, classic Casio, Skylark and much more, Fallowfield Arts Crafts Vintage will make you smile!

I miss Hong Kong

I started this blog during my time in Hong Kong. Far away from everyone and everything I knew, the two of us embarking on a whole new chapter to our lives. For the moment the UK seems to be grounding us, in more ways than one. Having lived on the other side of the world, suffered loneliness and emptiness at times, it is only when you look back you realise how much you have achieved while living away.

The world really isn't as big as it used to be, its easy to know what is happening in everyones lives no matter what country they're living in. I miss the innocent and unfamiliar minds of my HK friends, the exploring somewhere new everyday, the tests that we set ourselves and completed day to day, the outdoor lifestyle and the ways we treated our bodies.

Hong Kong is a place where everyone wants to do 'business', keen to succeed in life and make money. It is fast paced, hard, mean and lonely. Recently I have missed these attributes... I am determined to return to Hong Kong, there is still a part of me that wants to conclude our 12 month stay there, I therefore have six months remaining.

Vintage Fair

I recently visited Manchester's Triangle Vintage Fair,and it was really good. I managed to bag a pair of furry ankle leather boots and a little 20s striped dress. Very affordable, and lovely too.After some research, I see that Liverpool is hosting one on Saturday September 18th. Whose in?

Too soon for Christmas?

I've thought about Christmas three times today... it's only August! After the rain poured and poured and the grey skies got darker and darker, my mid drifted to autumn and then winter... snuggly clothes, fur scarves, snow filled skies and cashmere cardigans. Maybe this year we'll be part of the icy mornings, I'll ride my bike around the frosty gardens? Rushing into our warm home, candles burning, hot vimto we can drink!
